Professional Development
At Soy La Esperanza, we believe that training and professional development activities should be done over time and should be completed in tandem with other opportunities for growth (Bezrukova et al, 2016; Flores, Claeys, Gist, Clark, & Villareal, 2015). There’s no singular training that will make leaders more culturally responsive; rather, it is an experience that takes shape over time. We listen to and cater to the organizations that we work with and co-develop those experiences understanding where members of that community are at in their personal and professional journeys.
